Teri Hollingsworth, Ph.D. Associate Director, Pearson Learning Teams. 

Teri Hollingsworth, Ph.D., worked in public education for over 20 years prior to joining Learning Teams. She did her undergraduate work at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) which allowed her to serve as teacher, mentor teacher, district model classroom teacher, intern supervisor, Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) Support Provider, and on-site administrator. The majority of Teri's professional service was with secondary correctional students in Orange County, California's Juvenile Court Schools. Teri earned her MA in Integrative Studies from CSUSB and completed her Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University where her research centered on the correlation between student academic success and student wellbeing. Teri's published work includes a chapter titled, My Story, found in the textbook, In the Borderlands: Learning to Teach in Prisons and Alternative Settings edited by Randall Wright, 2008; an article, William George, in Correctional Education History from A to Z, which was edited by Gehring & Rennie, 2008; and Coping and Beyond: Practical Suggestions for Correctional Educators, an article coauthored with Thom Gehring and published in The Journal of Correctional Education, V53. Issue 3. September, 2002.
