Gloria M. Martinez, Ed.D., Associate Director, Pearson Learning Teams. Gloria M. Martinez, Ed.D., Associate Director, has worked as a principal, assistant principal, dean of students, and teacher for the past 21 years in private, public and charter schools. During this time she has also served as an adjunct instructor for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is a presenter to administrators for Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID). Dr. Martinez earned her doctoral degree from UCLA, focusing on action research to foster educational reform from within the secondary school site. Dr. Martinez has used her findings to implement educational programs at Malibu High School and Palisades Charter High School. She is now an Associate Director for Pearson Learning Teams in the Teacher Education & Development group of Pearson. |
