Pam Tamusaitis, M.A., Director, Pearson Leaning Teams. Pam Tamusaitis, M.A., has worked in education for the past 20 years in public schools. She served in various positions in the field of education such as classroom teacher, union representative, grade level facilitator, mentor teacher, and literacy coach. Ms. Tamusaitis was a teacher, grade level facilitator, literacy coach, and a member of her school's leadership team at one of the Los Angeles Unified School District elementary schools involved in the Pearson Learning Teams scale up study. Ms. Tamusaitis earned two M.A.'s degrees, one in instruction and curriculum and the other in education leadership. She also holds a state of California Multiple Subject Teaching credential and an Administrative Credential. Currently Ms. Tamusaitis is the Director for the Pearson Learning Teams program and is part of the leadership team that is researching and designing instructional improvement programs for schools across the nation. She has delivered Leadership Institutes in various locations across the nation such as the summer Leadership Institutes in Ohio as part of Pearson's collaboration with John Carroll University and Ohio's Reading First Schools. Among her current responsibilities, Pam is currently Director on the implementation of projects in California and Ohio. |
